Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy describes how Fae Letters® (the "Site," "we," "us," or "our") processes, ships, and tracks orders. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

Processing & Shipping Times

We ship within the United States and internationally using multiple carriers.

Letters

  • First letter: Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage in a kraft cardboard envelope, within 1–3 business days of your order. If you ordered a Collector's Box or Tin, the first letter is included inside the package.
    • Domestic (US) delivery: 2–5 business days after shipment (total transit time: 5–8 business days).
    • International delivery: 2–4 weeks after shipment.
    • A tracking number will be emailed to you once the first letter ships.
  • Subsequent letters: Sent via regular mail, generally mailed on Fridays, and do not include tracking. We recommend signing up for USPS Informed Delivery — a free service that emails you scanned images of incoming mail.
  • International subsequent letters: May take up to 6 weeks for delivery. Letters arrive on a regular cycle a few weeks apart.

Collector's Boxes, Tins, and Other Products

  • Shipped via USPS Ground within 1–3 business days of your order.
  • Domestic (US) delivery: 5–8 business days total.
  • International delivery: 2–4 weeks after shipment. We may use additional shipping services for international orders.
  • A tracking number will be provided once the order has shipped.

If you do not receive your order within these time frames, please Contact Us and an agent will respond within 1–3 business days.

Carriers

We primarily ship via USPS, with additional carriers used as needed for international orders or specific product types. We reserve the right to select the carrier that best fits our shipping needs at the time of fulfillment.

Shipping Address Requirements

  • Please ensure your shipping information is complete and accurate, including correct abbreviations.
  • We are not responsible for packages delayed or lost due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
  • Providing your email address is encouraged so we can contact you regarding your order or subscription.
  • Moving? You can update your address through your Shopify / Shop account, and your next letters will be shipped to the new location effective immediately. If you have trouble, please Contact Us.

Missing Letters

Despite our best efforts to ward off goblins in transit, the occasional letter may go astray. If you believe a letter is missing, please Contact Us with the letter number you are missing, and we will send a replacement free of charge.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as non-deliverable, we will issue a store credit in the form of an E-Gift Card for the net price of your item(s), minus the original shipping charge.

International Orders

  • Delivery times vary by destination. International first-letter delivery is typically 2–4 weeks; subsequent letters may take up to 6 weeks.
  • Tracking is provided on the first letter and on non-letter products. Subsequent letters ship without tracking.
  • Shipping rates vary based on location and weight; the exact cost is shown at checkout.
  • All prices on our site are in USD. Currency conversion is handled by your bank.
  • All applicable customs fees, taxes, and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Customs authorities require us to state the value of your order on the package.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on product weight, shipping method, and destination. The exact cost for your order is shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Tracking

Tracking information is provided in the automated shipping confirmation email sent to the email address on file. Tracking is included on first letters and on non-letter products. Subsequent letters in a subscription series ship via regular mail without tracking — we recommend USPS Informed Delivery as a free alternative.

Shipping Fees

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • If you refuse a shipment, you will be responsible for the original shipping charge plus the cost of returning the package to us. These amounts will be deducted from any credit issued.

Delivered But Not Received

If your tracking information shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package:

  • You must contact the delivery carrier directly to resolve the issue.
  • We do not accept responsibility or issue refunds for packages the carrier confirms as delivered.

Changes

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
